Terms and conditions
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF COMMISSIONING AND USAGE OF VIDEO PRODUCTION FROM ANGLE UP STUDIO (FORMERLY TOP HOLE VIDEOGRAPHY)
1. Definitions & General Terms
In these Terms, “ANGLE UP STUDIO,” “ANGLE UP,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refers to Angle Up Studio, a UK-registered limited company. “Client” or “customer” refers to the individual or organisation commissioning or funding the work, including any representative acting on their behalf.
These Terms apply to all content, video, and associated audio products created by Angle Up Studio, including moving images, still images, and sound recordings.
2. Pre-production Requirements
The Client must obtain all necessary permissions and licenses for performances, imagery, trademarks, logos, intellectual property, sound recordings, and other copyrighted material used in the final product.
Additionally, by agreeing to these Terms, the Client indemnifies Angle Up Studio against any claims, disputes, or expenses arising from copyright infringement or misuse of pre-existing material.
Angle Up Studio is not responsible for delays or failure to deliver caused by the Client’s failure to secure permissions.
Furthermore, the Client agrees to indemnify Angle Up Studio for any future claims or costs related to material they provide.
3. Production and Post-production
All work will follow the written quotation and agreed production brief. It is the Client’s responsibility to review and understand the brief before booking.
We charge for any amendments or additional filming days at our current daily rates.
The Client must provide clear access for video and sound capture. If the Client arranges filming venues, they must ensure our crew can access all necessary locations. Otherwise, delays may result in additional charges.
If filming is delayed or aborted due to Client issues, we will reschedule affected days and charge for any additional costs. No refunds or credits will be given for delays or aborted filming days.
4. Changes to Filming Schedule
If the Client wishes to change or cancel filming dates, we require at least two weeks’ notice. Failure to do so makes the Client fully liable for costs related to the originally scheduled dates.
Additionally, we reserve the right to remove any personnel or equipment from a location if safety is at risk or staff face abusive behaviour. In such cases, the Client is liable for all resulting costs.
If equipment fails or technical issues occur, we will use suitable replacements to maintain project quality and delivery. The senior crew member will decide on the equipment used. No further claims or liability will be accepted.
5. Copyright
Angle Up Studio owns the copyright to all material captured, processed, or produced, whether or not it is part of a finished project. Copyright is protected under English law.
6. Usage License – Rights to Use Project Content
The Client must obtain permissions for any material provided to us, including logos, images, trademarks, footage, or audio.
Angle Up Studio retains copyright over all content we produce. We grant the Client a time-unlimited license to use footage in its delivered form only.
Furthermore, the Client may not re-edit, copy, or alter content without written consent.
We reserve the right to use project footage in showreels and promotional materials.
Provided the Client has paid all amounts due and is not in breach of these Terms, the license remains perpetual.
7. Payment
Invoices are due within 14 days of issue. Additionally, we may charge interest or recovery costs for overdue payments under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
By confirming an order, the Client accepts these Terms. This document forms a binding agreement under English law.
